I'm glad we don't have to worry about all that anymore. Although my son didn't do a lot of team jumping. He was on 3 teams between 12 and 18. And both times he changed teams were because the team dismantled. 1st due to kids going into HS at 15 and the other because the non-dad coach decided to start coaching his own sons team. But, I will say don't get overly stressed about it. Enjoy the time - it will be gone before you know it. I miss those days often. I'm lucky enough to still be able to watch my son play baseball now that he is almost 20, but it's different than when he was just a "kid". Sorry, the change of season post just got me a little nostalgic. |
