They would probably lose to Mercer as well if they played.

Kennesaw State beat Georgia Southern tonight 5-0.

Georgia has lost 4 games in 2013 to in state Division 1 schools. Georgia Southern (2 games), Kennesaw State (1 game) and Georgia State (1 game).

KSU also beat Auburn.

I hear Georgia Highlands is going to toe the spike next season, I think as a JC. They have already signed some pretty good high school players, and their coach is joining the EC Academy staff. Good to see that more schools in GA are starting programs!

Don't forget the JC's either. Middle Georgia and Georgia Perimeter have excellent programs. There's also Gordon College, Andrew College, Darton College to name a few. A couple of DIIs are West Georgia College, Armstrong Atlantic, Augusta, Valdosta and Young Harris. Southern Polytechnic is a pretty good NAIA school. DIIIs include Berry, Rienhardt and LaGrange College.

Probably more that I'm not thinking of, but suffice it to say that there are many pretty good schools here in Georgia to consider.

Kennesaw has already beaten UGA this season. They play Southern tomorrow. I hear nothing but great things about their coaches and the program in general.

Big matchup between Ga Tech and Mercer Tuesday in Atlanta. Both Teams at 11-1.

Some very good teams in Ga. Piedmont College, West Ga, Columbus State, all with storied histories. Berry, N. Ga College, GcSU, Ga Southern, hard to make a list.....

No UGA?
SamQuick Posted - 03/02/2013 : 01:12:36
From what they have shown so far, UGA isn't making any lists this year.

They have lost to Ga Southern and Ga State so far.

I'm not on top of it enough to rank them, but you gotta have UGA and KSU on that list
