.... a team is ALWAYS posting that they are looking for ONE more player when they really need a whole roster!
.... a newly formed team is bragging about this or that early in the season and then the going gets tough and are never heard from again! |

The classification that you choose for your team is really based on the type competition your team desires to play against more so than if your team is an Elite Major team or not. If your club desires to play against the top teams and play in Super Nits (Major)then sign up as a Major team. If you have no desire to do that and you are simply going to play local open tournaments then play AAA or AA.

Posted - 01/23/2013 : 18:48:55 Oldschooldad, Agree, we just show up and play, and play whose ever in the other dugout in the tourneys that we can. Never had trouble keeping a steady roster and just want to play ball. USSSA rates us as 11AA and we accept that, and have surprised a few of those ones you speak of. We're just glad to play where we can, who we can and when we can. Learned along time ago that those letters are subjective and it's still the same age kids in both dugouts. Then again, most of these forums are covered with conversations on Major Teams and not much talk from other classes , so I guess thats why it stands out so much. |
