With the jump to 9th grade using BBCOR bats is there anyone out there that does a "real" bat vs bat comparison on BBCOR bats. I mean line up the top 20 bats and put them on a machine and see which ones hit the ball the farthest and which ones hold up the best.
I see one review who claims the 2013 Rip It is the best and 2nd best BBCOR bat out there.
I have to believe these are reps for that bat as I doubt 2 bats come in #1 and #2 on a list with Easton and DeMarini and Louisville Slugger.
Most youtube videos push one brand but none really show using more than one? Are they going to hit much further than another bat or even further than wood is the price 400 to 99 even worth it.

Here is a link to Baseball America's 2013 Bat Guide. Its primary focus is on the BBCOR bats and their influence through all levels of play. I have the print edition, but it appears the online edition is a duplicate. There are some very interesting points and is a good read.

There is a point made that not only is it a violation of NFHS baseball rules to alter a nonwood bat, but new language emphasizes that an individual could be subjected to civil and under certain circumstances, criminal action.
