Posted - 07/31/2012 : 22:20:36 That explains everything...now I know why the Bandits and Astros didn't take my son. I feel a lot better now...it wasn't him, it was me all these years
Actually, I understand where you are coming from. Parents need to be especially careful during the season about what they post. Even in off-season, they might consider a well masked posting identity.
Parents can hurt their son, or their sons team, if they are not guarded with their words and tone.
When I get a wild hair, I post obnoxious stuff on out-of-State forums. Afterwards, I sleep like a Baby.

Posted - 07/25/2012 : 14:11:54 Be able to evaluate the right talent, handle the parents, progress the kids and be committed. I don't care what level they are at, the elite coaches make the kids better and let them enjoy it and make them continue or start to love the game and learn it both physically and mentally. I don't care what the coaches background is. Obviously a former MLB guy will know more than just a dad coaching, but may not be able to relay it to kids and keep them loving the game... Just my opinion, but you know what they say about opinions... LOL |
