It used to be that to qualify for post season play (World Series, Elite 32, etc) in USSSA that you had to play in your respective states, state tournament. Is this still the case? This past weekend there was the Major State held and this weekend starts the AAA/AA state tournamnets. There our teams signed up for both the Elite 32 and Global World Series that did not play in the Major State or have not currently signed up to play in their respective classifiction in the state tournament.

Has this requirement been lifted?
