Ohhhh sorry. The cost went from $1800 to over $3000 plus travel. That was mostly East Cobb teams. All paid coaches. The teams that were "dads" coaching were about $1000. Some of that depends on the tourneys that the teams were planning on playing in. |

Price /value? We ( I included myself) looked all over the East Cobb area for "the right team" for my 16 year old. Ran into a lot of good teams and guys that coach them. Some with kids on the team. Some with paid coaches that were more money to play on. Also ran into the "we are going to carry 24 on the roster" teams. 24....at 16U? Really? BUT...he landed on a team that I would have paid any ammount to play on. Coached by a D1 pitching coach. And a 15 year MLB vet. How much? We have never been involved with a coach or team that works with the boys more. For $0 dollars. And let me be clear....not everyone can do it for nothing, I understand that. But the price/value better... or at least should make sure that your players interest be THE most important thing! And when (if) our team does hand us a bill, all I care about is that they cared about my son. By the way...thanks coach!!!! |
