Posted - 02/09/2012 : 09:20:04 Can someone explain this rule? I take it means if my son who plays 11u generally, but a 12u team wants him to play with them as well on the side, then if the 12u team is AAA, his 11u team must also be AAA or major level. Is that how to interpret this rule?
3.05.B.2 Players participating in multiple age divisions shall only appear on one (1) Official Online Roster per age division and shall only participate with such frozen team(s) (unless previously released pursuant to these rules) but shall not participate on any team below the classification of the oldest team in which they participate on. |

Posted - 02/09/2012 : 14:40:03 There was a lengthy discussion on this topic on this forum in past couple of months. Bubba chimed in on multiple occasions to clarify difference between entire teams playing up an age group vs. an individual player joining a higher age group team. Posted - 02/09/2012 : 12:05:22 this is not how it was explained in the meeting. i agree with what you are saying, but rule 308.b2 contradicts that imo by saying "players listed on rosters in multiple age divisions must be on teams of equal classification" this could use a little more clarity. |
