Has anybody played in a USTSA tourney in the state of GA? It appears that this association is still fairly new, is affiliated with Cecil Fielder and appear to have been fairly succesful out West....we have attempted to play in 2 of their tourneys. We receive confirmation the tourney has made, receive a schedule....only to have the TD cancell on Friday, anybody else have a similiar experience??? |

Your right westcoastguru, I have made some changes to the unestablished teams or teams that dont honor there word. The one thing i will not do is post on our website or on a forum page that a team is coming without talking with them first. I also check with all teams the monday before and wednesday is the last day for the tournament to make. This was completly out of my control but i will make it up to your team. I just dont think its right for td's to put teams down that they have not confirmed. WestCoastGuru give me a chance to make this up to your coaching staff your parents but most of all your players. |

I would suggest requiring unestablished teams to make a deposit before even advertising they are coming. We realize some things are beyond a TD's control, but with this happenning it prevented us playing this past weekend and we will be very hesitant in considering another USTSA tourney. Maybe even reconfirming with all teams the Wednesday before that scheduled weekends, this will allow teams to find another tourney for that coming weekend!!! |

Yall were the only two teams that kept your commitment and I thank you both for that. This experience has really got me a little gun shy because this is not normal. The two teams that did back out are new to the travel ball world. I don't know still searching for answers on how to prvent this from ever happening again. Again coaches thank you.

We had the same experience this weekend, TD said he was working on the sked on Thur and then got a call a few hours later saying ws cxld due to teams dropping out. |
