Is there anything wrong with using a BESR -3 bat at 13u this coming fall/spring? We will not be playing in many USSSA tournaments. I'm seeing many bats that were 300 plus on ebay going for less than 40 bucks. Im thinking that since mine is not playing middle or high school if I could score one that cheap even if he uses it this year only its a good deal. Am I missing something?

I don't beleive you will be able to use it for USSSA tournaments, but otherwise, it should be fine. I just picked up a couple of $200 bats for $40. Worst case: They are great for batting practice.
