The forums are getting more time consuming and expensive to operate as they get more popular. We have some great sponsors (whose logos are displayed on the right) that help offset some of the cost. I could run ads from outside sources to generate revenue, but I personally get tired of them slowing down other sites I go to and even though you have some control of what gets displayed sometimes junk gets through. A lot of people try to advertise their business/products by posting in the forums, but they get ignored or the forums would be flooded with advertisements.

First of all, if you are a business, organization, major tournament director, etc that takes advantage of the forums to gain customers, consider becoming a full sponsor of the site. Coaches and parents, if you become a customer of someone based upon information you found in the forums encourage them to become a sponsor.

For shorter term announcements, I am adding an option to have a paid classified ad that can run for 2, 4 or 6 weeks and paid for through PayPal. We will run this on a trial basis to see if it is worthwhile. The link below has an explanation and the pay with PayPal option.

I know that some of you will think it is awful that you have to pay for an ad, but it does take time and money to keep things going.

Thanks
