Posted - 12/28/2020 : 17:00:35 I have received many calls and texts regarding my involvement at Lakepoint in 2021.
I was presented an opportunity with the Athletx Sports Group out of Louisville Kentucky and I took it. I was hoping to stay on at Lakepoint and continue to run youth events at the park but after discussion with PBR, they decided to run the youth events on their own. Kyle, Avery and Hudson are great to work with and I am sure they will help all of you with what ever you need. I have nothing but great things to say about PBR and the staff at Lakepoint. First class all the way.
I enjoyed my 9 years of running events in northern Atlanta and I enjoyed being a resident for the last 5 years. I met a lot of great people and made a ton of new friends.
As for me, I have moved the TbS headquarters to Louisville Kentucky and the Elizabethtown Sports Park will host TbS events in 2021, including the ever popular TbS Nationals.
Hopefully I can come back to Lakepoint a run a couple of events in 2022. In the meantime, come on up and see me in Elizabethtown Kentucky!
Thanks Atlanta for everything!! |

From what I was able to gather, it looks like TbS has either left Lakepoint on their own terms, or PBR ended up wanting to run their own events. Rick is now running events in Kentucky, Mississippi, and one at Shipyard Park. I think he was bought out by Baseball Youth, but don't quote me on that. |
