Posted - 09/28/2020 : 15:24:58 In our state travel baseball is pretty much shut down from November til June when school ball ends. My understanding is that GA is different regarding middle school teams for the schools and you also have a more favorable climate, so is it common for competitive tournaments to continue through the winter? Trying to figure out the landscape bc our son would like to get some more games in and we’re considering traveling GA as an option. Thanks for any input! |

With 14u, you can run into issues with having enough players between middle school and high school sports. Many 14u and up teams don't start tournaments until June because of high school baseball. |

But a lot of teams will organize round robins and DH's if the weather is good. Most kids here play multiple sports, with Football and basketball being the two main others. Play normally picks up the last weekend of February/early March. |
