By now most if not all of you have heard about the tragic drowning of Darin McGahey 42 on July 7th. (coach of the 11u AA Locust Grove Razorbacks) Darin and his team was playing in the USSSA AA World Series in Pensacola Fl at the time of his death. Darin gave his own life to save his son Noah (11) and others from the undertow of the ocean. Darin was from McDonough Ga. and was a devoted husband ,father , coach and friend. ( he was my best friend since age 5 (38 years) and will truly be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.. Please, everyone keep Darin's wife Ann and 3 son's Noah ,Austin and Dustin in your thoughts and prayers in these emotional times.



A trust fund has been set up for Ann and the boys if anyone would like to help this family. Please feel free to pass this email along to anyone who may want to help.
