Seems like currently the coaches are holding the power but it swings back and forth as the recruiting season continues. In other words which is panicking more coaches or parents. Which do you think is holding the cards right now?

Posted - 07/30/2010 : 19:34:07 Depends on the player. If it's a stud out there looking, he has the upper hand. If it's any other player, they are probably sweating bullets waiting for a call to get on the team they want. The stud is waiting to hear from several teams to decide which one is best for him. Coaches are waiting on his answer before they go for the next guy on their list. |

Posted - 07/30/2010 : 19:18:49 The person with the greatest demand have the upper hand. If a top player has several teams interested in him, he has the upper hand. If a coach has a few positions and many players interested, they have the upper hand for the players that could equally fill those spots.
No one has ultimate upper hand. The top most teams still have to recruit because there are always alternatives. |
